Ingredients
- Lethal amount of shredded cheese
- 1 lb sausage meat
- 3 cup uncooked rice
- 12 oz crushed Tomatoes
- 1 1/2 cup any frozen veggie mix
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup green onion, chopped
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon powder
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1tsp thyme
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- Wash rice and set it to cook.
- As rice cooks, heat a large pan over medium high heat and brown sausage meat until browned.
- Scoop out sausage meat and set aside. Fry onion and garlic until fragrant, then toss in frozen veggies to cook.
- once veggies are cooked to desired doneness, add sausage in to mix and turn off heat.
- Fold in the rice, tomatoes, herbs, soy sauce, and seasonings. Add water 1/4 cups at a time until mixture well moistened.
- Set in a casserole dish, then cover and bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Then take off cover, cover with cheese, and bake for another 10-15 minutes.
