Ingredients
- 3 medium-sized, high starch potatoes
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 1/4 cups flavorless oil
- Kosher salt
- fry seasoning of choice
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water over medium high heat
- Peel and cut potatoes into 1/2 in thick sticks
- Pre heat the oven to 450f
- Once the pot boils, add in the vinegar and 2 tbsp of salt. Stir until the salt dissolves, then add in the potatoes and boil for 8 minutes
- Dump out the potatoes in to a colander and let it sit for 5 minutes
- Lay out the potatoes on the baking sheet and drench them with the oil. Make sure every fry is well covered
- Evenly distribute fries on the baking sheet, make sure no fries are touching or laying on top of one another. Bake for 15 minutes
- pull the baking sheet and flip the fries with a spatula. If the fries look dry, drizzle more oil to coat. Bake for another 15–20 minutes or until desired crispiness
- Line a large bowl with paper towel and dump in the fries, then immediately toss with a pinch of salt and seasoning of your choice. Serve while hot
